I use Calendly to manage my calendar to provide maximum reliability for my clients. My availability is managed directly through the calendar, and scheduling a session requires no back-and-forth and can be accomplished in under five minutes.

Hourly Plan

Follow this link to schedule a 1-hr or 0.5-hr tutoring session with Joey. Clients pay at checkout and will automatically be sent a Zoom link for the meeting.

With hourly tutoring, sessions can be scheduled up to two weeks in advance.

Tutoring Bundle

When purchasing a tutoring bundle, sessions can be scheduled typically months in advance, usually at least through the current semester.

Currently, my payments are accepted via Stripe.

When scheduling a tutoring session, you will pay at checkout after selecting a date and time for tutoring.

My cancellation/reschedule policy is centered around respecting that life -- especially life with teenagers -- can be unpredictable.

Every session confirmation email contains a link for the client to cancel or reschedule each meeting.

As of August of 2025, clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance of the session. Clients who cancel within 24 hours of the session will need to pay for that session.

I have built a home studio centered around providing the best online tutoring experience for my clients. I have access to a writing tablet for students to see my writing in real time, and I also have graphing software that I use when appropriate (desmos.com). My goal is to have a friendly and engaging environment focused on connecting with students and deepening their understanding of math.

Clients need to have only a webcam-enabled device and an internet connection to join a session. I strongly encourage that students not access the session via a cell phone, as the screen will be too small to reliably read the text.

Besides following the Zoom link, the only other thing a student might want to do to prepare is send me work beforehand: a recent test, upcoming homework, work to review, etc.
